Overview
"Stupid Feelings" was first written and demoed by Rivers Cuomo in July 2001.[1] Weezer demoed the song during sessions at Sage and Sound Recording in Los Angeles between August 29 and September 8, however no full-band recordings have ever been released.[2]
The song's chorus melody is repurposed from the 1998 demo "I'm So Glad I Got a Girl to Think Of". This melody would also later be used for the verses of the 2016 song "She Makes Me Laugh".
