Overview

"Whip It Up" was recorded at an unknown date. Demos of the song were initially released to fans on November 22, 2020, as part of the demo compilation Alone XI: The EWBAITE Years, but were removed a few days later. It is unknown if their removal implies the contribution of other songwriters or musicians, or if they were written at a later date than the EWBAITE era (2011—2014).

A section of the song ("Shout it from the rooftops...") was later re-appropriated into the song "Little Do They Know", written for the 2021 film The Space Between, wherein the song is sung by Kelsey Grammer.
