10 Songs from the Valley is a compilation of short demos recorded by Rivers Cuomo, dated April 22, 1994. Most of the songs from this collection were initially released as a suite of songs designated the Fulton Avenue Suite on the compilation CD Alone III: The Pinkerton Years 1994-1997 in 2011. The full set of these unedited songs were re-released as part of the digital compilation Alone IV: The Blue-Pinkerton Years in 2020.

Overview

10 Songs from the Valley was recorded by Cuomo in April of 1994, while living with Karl Koch in an apartment on Fulton Ave. in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles at, in the words of Koch, "an apartment with no furniture that was oddly unscathed by the nearby catastrophic Northridge Earthquake, which struck the day before we moved in there".[1]
