Overview
"Dude, We're Finally Landing" takes place in Act II.[1] In the song, the three main male characters, Jonas, Wuan and Dondó sing about how the ship is finally landing after 327 days in space. The demo is mainly a cappella, with the three characters all singing their points of view over each other. Some acoustic guitar appears near the end of the song.
This song was released on Alone: The Home Recordings of Rivers Cuomo. The demo version features "scratch" lyrics, as they were unfinished at the time it was recorded.

Lyrics
[WUAN:]
Dude
[DONDO:]
Dude
[WUAN:]
Dude
[JONAS:]
What?
[WUAN and DONDO:]
Good news, good news, good news
Now we're finally landing
M1's started scanning
For a possible source
Of the distress call we received
[JONAS:]
What's so damn important
That you feel that it's necessary
To interrupt me
In my pod
[WUAN, DONDO, and JONAS:]
Now we're finally landing
Now we're finally landing
Get your stuff together
'Cause now we're finally gonna land
[WUAN and DONDO:]
Good news, good news, good news
Good news, good news, good news
Good news, good news, good news
Good news, good news, good news
[JONAS:]
So who gives a damn?
