Today in Weezer History: 11/27/2010 - Weezer plays Pinkerton in order, in full for the first time ever - Memories Tour kickoff, Los Angeles. The Memories Tour was a series of special shows in which Weezer played two sets each night, one regular set of greatest hits and/or deep cuts, the other of the Blue Album or Pinkerton, played in order of the album with corresponding backdrop. There were many other aspects of these shows, including special merchandise, VIP tickets that gave fans perks like preshow tours with Karl hosting, meet and greets with the band, a Karl historical slideshow at "halftime" and lots of other stuff. Los Angeles was the initial set of two shows at Universal Amphitheater, 11/26 for Blue, and 11/27 for Pinkerton. Over the next 18 months they would play a number of other Memories shows around the world.
