Overview

"She Looks At Me" features lead vocals by Rachel Haden, who wrote the lyrics, while the music was written by Anna Waronker. "It's about my imaginary friends who live under my bed,' said Rachel of the song, from the liner notes to the "Old Timer" promo CD single, on which the song appears.

A cover of the song was demoed by Matt Sharp in 1994. The cover appeared on the Rentals' fan club-exclusive CD Excellent Stocking Stuffer in 2001.

Lyrics

She looks at me, oh so pretty
Touching me with her smiling white teeth
She's showing me the place
Where everything is heard and said
She's showing me the place
Which is underneath my bed

She looks at me oh so pretty
Touching me with her smiling white teeth
She's showing me the place
Where is everything is heard and said
She's showing me the place
Which is underneath my bed
