The first time i heard buddy holly my life changed for the better, it felt so good, i was sitting on my bed, fumbling around with the radio dial and the airwaves crackled, then it happened-the opening chords of buddy holly burst forth, just hearing rivers cuomo made me want MORE. I NEED MORE BUDDY HOLLY, i closed my eyes and let weezer - buddy holly wash over me, the rhythm became my hearbeat and i synced with the pulse of buddy holly, i felt connected to the universe, felt like i was apart of something bigger

i knew little about buddy holly back then, it was just a name from the past, a legend lsot in the annals of rock history, but as rivers sang "Oo-ee-oo i look just like buddy holly" i felt like i was both rivers and buddy at the same time, i felt like i looked like them, i felt them inside of me. like we were ONE

Why are they dissing my girl? why are they so violent? the reason why is because they feel insecure, they dont have a girl themself so they start dissin her to feel better, but to no avail, they did nothing to these guys to make them so violent, so it has no meaning for whatever they say.

when i was playing fortnite after the og season ended, we were trying out all the new gamemodes, but then when i was looking around for what songs were on there, thats when i found it again. BUDDY HOLLY. and the cover art. OH THE COVER ART so all four of us selected it. and we all felt it, this is how it felt to play buddy holly. pressing 4 keys Thank you epic games for making buddy holly in fortnite a canon thing (i am calling it already that this gamemode is before the events of fortnite.)

when i booted windows 95 for the first time, i went man i sure hope buddy holly the music video isnt preinstalled on my computer. i opened the media player and guess what appeared? i cried the first time i saw the music video, tears of pure JOY.
