Hey Karl,
I've seen your revision of the Jason Cropper article. Nice. One thing that always comes up when discussing his role in weezer is the thing about the "My Name Is Jonas" royalties. People usually wonder if he gets paid for sales of the Blue Album, sales of stuff like "Rock Band" (feat. Jonas) or if he has anything to say about releases of the song. Like live versions on the Bootlesg. And do weezer have to ask Cropper to release material with him playing on it, like the Kitchen Tape or "Lullaby for Wayne" on Blue Deluxe?
I know its probably all part of the non-disclosure thing, but maybe you can elaborate a little on that. --Donny 03:57, 19 August 2011 (EDT)

thanks Donny ill see what i can add and clarify there. im not sure if his wiki page is the best place for that info? but i cant think of another option. --Karlophone 16:02, 20 August 2011 (EDT)
I couldn't think of a better place. But I am aware that it's probably a sensitive topic for anyone involved and I guess people respect that. --Donny 03:21, 22 August 2011 (EDT)

Thanks for reverting that edit on my talk page! -MyNameIsJason 17:45, 17 February 2012 (EST)

no worries Jason! --Karlophone 14:58, 18 February 2012 (EST)

The Special Goodness

Heya Karl. The people in the WP Discord server were stoked to see the edit you made on the The Special Goodness album page, I didn't even know you still used this site at all. You mentioned, though, that you still have some of those homemade CD copies saved. Out of curiosity, do you have any scans of these releases? They've gotta be some of the rarest (or at least most obscure) Weezer-related CDs to date, so high quality images (besides the ones we already have) from other sources is definitely not something we can hold out hope for. Thanks man! --I Donte Like Birdse (talk) 20:03, 6 March 2021 (UTC)

Darrin Pfeiffer.

Hello Karl. Thank you for updating the page on Darrin Pfeiffer. It helps a lot since his page is my first major contribution to this website. It is also good to get the confirmation on Darrin's influence with the band 60 Wrong Sausages. Jason Cropper had mentioned that Darrin was present around the band, but there was no specific citation that he was actually a member.

no worries! thanks for working on the "marginal" areas, often they are the most interesting. Jason is slightly mis-remembering things, as Darrin didnt move to LA till well after weezer was going. But there was a lot of bro-ing down back then, things in flux, and in the big picture it was all in the space of like 18 months. ill keep adding stuff as i find pages that need it. -karl
Thank you very much Karl. I recently came into contact with Darrin through social media. Hopefully I will be able to confirm more infomation for his article! -Drew

Site timing out a lot

Hello old chap! Hope things are well. Saw you made some edits today and I wanted to ask if you had any trouble with the site timing out. It's been happening to a lot of editors lately (myself included), and we're wondering if you'd be able to lend a hand with mitigating it. Could it have anything to do with our hosting? I'm a bit clueless here. --MyNameIsJason (talk) 07:03, 9 March 2021 (UTC)
