The Album 5 Demos are a collection of songs written and recorded be Weezer immediately after Maladroit that were ultimately scrapped in favor of 2005's Make Believe. They reflect the band's earliest attempts at the fifth album as well as letting other members sing songs, increase use of keyboards and organs, and reflect a songwriting style by Rivers which focuses more on storytelling and less on his own feelings.
