Overview

"Wet Dog" was written in November 1991 for the 50 Song Project, and was a collaboration between Cuomo and Pat Wilson. The song eventually became a part of the 1991-1992 Weezer cassette tape that contained songs intended for the Weezer project. Outside of some scat singing from Cuomo, the song is entirely instrumental. According to Karl Koch, the song "might not count as one of the 50"[1]. The song was among hundreds of Cuomo's demos leaked online on November of 2020, and was later released as part of the digital compilation Alone V: Before Weezer.
