What the hell did I do wrong?
Why'd you change your happy song?
Yesterday you wanted me
Now you're backing out the door
You don't love me anymore
It's as plain as it can be
And I was about to write you down
As just another love I've known
Though you just might have been
The sweetest one of all
And I am bamboozled as can be
Wondering how this came to be
How did I win then lose
The sweetest one of all?
Don't tell me you want to try
With that sparkle in your eye
You don't have a heart in you
Why not break it off for good?
You know I would if I could
But this is all that I can do
And I was about to write you down
As just another love I've known
Though you just might have been
The sweetest one of all
I am bamboozled as can be
Wondering how this came to be
How did I win then lose
The sweetest one of all?
And I am the loser
And I am the loser
And I am the loser this time
And I was about to write you down
As just another love I've known
Though you just might have been
The sweetest one of all
And I am bamboozled as can be
Wondering how this came to be
How did I win then lose
The sweetest one of all?
One of all, one of all
One of all, one of all

How did I lose
How did I lose
How did I lose
How did I lose
Ba ba dum ba, ba ba dum ba
Ba ba dum ba, ba ba dum ba
And I am a loser, and I am a loser
And I am the loser this time
And I was about to write you down
As just another love I've known
