Background
"There's a Bomb in the Air" was written by Cuomo and recorded at TK Productions & Rehearsal Studios in Los Angeles in 1998.[1] Though the song never appeared on a Weezer album, the song's melody was revisited for a number of future demos, ultimately appearing in the songs "Dancing Girl" by the Japanese band Asian Kung-Fu Generation in 2018 and "Byzantine" by Weezer in 2019. It is speculated that this is a full band demo because of the artist being labelled as "Weezer" in the metadata. at 1:54, Rivers mumbles "Thanks Bri" which is possibly referring to Brian Bell messing up one of his guitar parts.
