"Teenage Dirtbag" is the debut single from the eponymous debut album by American rock band Wheatus. Weezer covered the song live from 2010 to 2012.

Overview
"Teenage Dirtbag" is often mistakenly believed to be a Weezer song, often being tagged as Weezer on peer-to-peer file sharing applications in the early 2000s.[1] Because of this, Weezer began covering the song during live shows in 2010, later performing it during a concert on the Weezer Cruise in 2012. Wheatus responded by frequently covering "My Name Is Jonas", beginning during their live tour in 2011.[2]
