...on the scene at Bamboozle - bands coming out of our ears, from Ke$ha to Mute Math! ... looking forward to MGMT. We go on at 9PM...

(Later) Well, that was a night to remember, and a fitting end to this micro tour week we've now wrapped up. The Bamboozle Festival takes place in one of the largest parking lots in the world, in the heart of New Jersey. And if that wasnt enough to get you to come down, then dig this: there were about 9 million bands playing, including Mute Math, MGMT, Ke$ha, OK Go, Dear Hunter, and Girl Talk. And then weezer of course! Weezer went big like they know how to do, rocking the giant outdoor festival crowd the right way, with bombast and panache. And a wig. Surreal moment of the evening: watching MGMT watching Weezer playing MGMT's song - about an hour after MGMT played it themselves. Pretty cool!

Big ups to Pete C. the original weezerisland.com webmeister, and of course BleedOrange and the A6 Krew, in the house getting moshed on in the true weezer spirit!

...now all quiet for a while? Not quite! May has a few weez surprises up its sleeve; we will reveal them when its kosher to do so.
