Overview

Cuomo first mentioned the song's title and shared lyrics on his Discord server on June 6, 2022. A month prior, a snippet of the song was shared as the background music of a video on Cuomo's TikTok account.

Despite its appearance on the summer-themed SZNZ album, "Lawn Chair" interpolates the melody from the Largo movement of the "Winter" (L'inverno) concerto from The Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi.

A demo of "Lawn Chair" was leaked online in December of 2022.
