...Now that that pesky Rapture is out of the way, coming up next: Atlantic City at the Borgata, The Hartford BOMBfest, and Pittsburgh at Stage AE. Pittsburgh people - we havent been through that neck of the woods in a long time, and I hear tell there are still some tickets available - nows your chance for a hometown Weezer show, hope to see you there! ...Name That Tune contest update: since the hints were added, we've had a new pile of entries, and some of them look pretty good! We are getting closer to having a winner list assembled, so stay tuned. And if you haven't tried, there's still time to get your submissions in! (see this 5/22 post for the details).

...As hinted at in the name that Tune contest rules, some of the recent historic shows from the Memories Tour will be available pretty soon as official CD bootlegs. We'll have a proper announcement with ordering info and details up asap.

...A little update on the forthcoming Pinkerton Diaries/Alone 3 deluxe package - some changes to the book were made which pushed back the production schedule till sometime this summer. We'll have specific info including pre-ordering details asap. Its going to be an amazing book and cd!

...From Wade O., a hilarious accounting of the lengths some crazy fans went last year to try and get a "Hurley" CD before it was released.

...Heres a slideshow of pix from the DC United soccer team. Rivers and Pat met some of the team before the DC101 Chili Cookoff show at RFK Stadium on Saturday 5/21, and they gave the guys DC United jerseys. (More pix from DC to come here on weezer.com).

...REMINDER: Weezer covers The Cars' classic song "You Might Think" in the upcoming "Cars 2" movie, and the song is heard int he new trailer launched last week. Because Cars frontman Ric Ocasek produced weezer's Blue and Green records and because the band are huge fans of the Cars, they were very into the idea of covering the song.
